I have, like so many fathers out there, unfortunately had to deal with countless false accusations, false arrests, and a never ending stream of continuous false accusations giving birth to countless family law legal problems this past year. Still going to this day! You name it, my case involves it. Temp restraining order, full psychological evaluation (accused suicidal), arrests, bail, jail, RO violations, child support, mediation, and just recently had trial for 82!!! accounts if contempt!!

This was my first expericnece ever dealing with family law. I had no clue how the fakily law system went, but had a fair understanting of the criminal law system went. They are nothing alike. As many fathers know, more often motions are granted on accusations alone.

The greatest quality you can look for in a family law lawyer, besides the obvious knowledge and/or interpretation of the law… is the interpretation of the (family) law (each code, section, and subsection) specifically in how it relates to you in your case and each motion for or against you.

This nuance is seldom looked for or poromoted, yet found normally only in the reputation of the lawyer. Few family law lawyers have this creative intelectual mind. Go into family law court one day and watch only the lawyers. You’ll see… Jeffrey Hoffer has this. We have before left even simple summarry motion hearings and had people (after hearing Jeffery speak and present himself in court) chase us down leaving the courtroom asking Jeffery if they could use his services.

Just today, I was on trial for 52 (of an original 82accounts!!) of contempt regarding violating a temporary reatrainging order. Jeffrey had all 52 accounts, every single one, dismissed. Obviously the opposing lawyer tried fighting the basis of every argument Jeffrey made as well as even the judge tried and made Jeffrey justify every legalistic angle on each argument Jeffrey made in my defense… Jeffrey had a solid legal answer for them all.

Not only is Jeffrey skilled in his interpertations of the law, he is one of -if not the best – trial lawyers in family law I have ever seen. This combination makes him, in my humble opinion, the best choice there is in LA/Ventuta County for representation in family law matters.

His rate is certainly a fair rate, especially compared to the competition, and a steal for what you get.
